
The birds flew in formation.
Perfect.
No one looked back. Looking back broke the line.
When one of them fell, the formation held.
The line didn’t break.
The flock arrived whole.
Minus one.
Nobody counted.
Moral:
Obedience isn’t always what it looks like.
Sometimes it’s just the name
we give to the fear of looking back.
